Virtual Briefing on Hate Crimes Against Asian American Pacific Islanders in MA hosted by USCCR| Thurs. May 6th @5PM

On Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., the Massachusetts Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, will host a web conference to discuss hate incidents and hate crimes against individuals of Asian American Pacific Island descent. The Committee will hear from advocates and public officials about the rise in attacks on AAPI individuals and the efforts to address the xenophobia and anti-Asian racism in Massachusetts.

The Committee will have a public comment period to hear public testimony at end of the meeting. Members of the public are encouraged to share their experience. Please join the call early if you wish to speak and keep comments to around 3-5 minutes.
